Email Zach Halley
Zach Halley is Assistant Principal of Hancock Middle School. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health, a Master of Education in Special Education, and an Education Specialist in Educational Leadership, all from William Carey University. Zach is entering his tenth year in education, having spent his career in high school special education. He has served in several leadership roles including State Test Coordinator, Building Case Manager for Special Education, and Transition Coordinator. In addition to his work in the classroom, Zach has coached at the high school level as an Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator for football, as well as Head Coach for track and field. He is looking forward to working in the community he calls home and making a lasting impact on the students, stakeholders, and future of Hancock County.
Zach grew up in Collins, Mississippi, and spent 13 years living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Outside of work, he enjoys football, bbq'ing, kayak fishing, and spending time with his wife, Chelsea, and daughter, Charlotte. He is excited to join a school and community whose stakeholders are deeply passionate about their schools.
